Thursday kicked of the engineering center's E-Days with the annual egg drop.

The drop, which has been taking place for 12 years, begins in the Engineering Office Tower and ends ... on the ground.

Both high school and college students partake in the event. The competition for college students acts more as a stress reliever for engineering students.

There are 15 entries this year, with groups ranging anywhere from two to 10 people.

Students and audience members anticipate what is going to come out of the window this year. "This year I hear we have a refrigerator," said egg-drop director Kaylee Bush.

Judging for the event is based on survival of the egg, creativity, and audience reaction.
