Planners are hoping City Council will make rehabilitating The Hill a top priority this year. For the past three years architects and consultants have been mapping out a way to improve the physical qualities of The Hill area. The plan envisions mixed-use buildings and surrounding courtyards including pedestrian-friendly walkways and amenities.

Steven Walsh is the architect for the project and has been actively working with former Boulder City Councilman, Gordon Riggle, to get the plan underway.

The developers are hoping that the renovation will welcome a broader spectrum of people so that it doesn't just cater to college students.
