Some Boulder residents are concerned that they could face restrictions on gun ownership and use. The election of Barack Obama has many gun owners worried that they will soon lose some of their Second Amendment rights.

According to Rod Brandenburg, owner of Grandpa's Pawn and Gun, that fear has led to an increase in gun purchases.

Sergeant Jeff Hendry says that the sheriff's department has also seen a rise in requests for concealed gun permits. While Obama has a record of increased gun restrictions, gun owners will have to wait to see if more restrictions are on the way.
