Fans of Boulder Acoustic Society believe these rare instruments and sounds are why the band will continue to prosper. "Music is made up of glue and hooks," said fan Lewis Aaron. "Glue is the expected and then they zing you. That's why they are popular."
The band believes as long as they are true to their music and real with their non-electrical equipment and raw sound, they will continue to have support. "When we play music I think we put everything that we feel into that music," said BAS member Scott McCormick. "Because of that we can create a real situation."
The bands fifth CD, "Now" released in January, proves the band has no where to go but up. This band's unique concert experience, lively humor and intriguing music will keep fans wanting more for years to come.
