Weber State University Housing and Maintenance will clear snow from all sidewalks, entryways, and parking lots at all WSU housing locations after every snowfall.

After last year's heavy winter, and difficulties of keeping the lots clear, WSU housing has planned ahead on getting out their snow removal policy.

Weber State University's Student Recruitment Services is offering a new program called PAWS to help students take a break from school the smart way.

The Provisional Absence Withdrawal Service (PAWS) is still new to Weber, but similar to programs at other universities.

Weber State University is offering a new minor in linguistics. A single college is not offering the minor; instead, nine different departments are a part of this program.

The purpose of the minor is to promote breadth of study at the University as it includes courses in several departments.

Pending an ongoing personnel investigation, CSU put Dexter Yarbrough, chief of the CSU Police Department and associate vice president of the Department of Public Safety, on paid leave beginning last Friday, a university spokesperson said.

Yarbrough will remain on leave for "as long as the investigation lasts," said Dell Rae Moellenberg, university spokesperson.
